CLICK HERE FOR OUR ISLAMIC IDEOLOGY:NEITHER EAST NOR WEST:THAT IS NEITHER USSR NOR USA BUT PEACE:

I am proudly a Shia Muslim despite the fact that the forces of evil has begun to wage a war against religions, not only Islam but Christianity and Judiasm. Our fundamental beliefs are:

Fundamentals of Islam

Usool -ad-Deen (Roots of Religion)

  • Tawheed - (Oneness of God) - The most fundamental aspect of all beliefs revolves around the total acceptance of the Absolute and Perfect Creator. Belief in the Originator of all causes and effects with no effect on Him and that He is One, Everliving, Beneficent and Merciful. He has neither a colleague nor a partner. He begets not, nor is He begotten, and there is none like Him. The Almighty God is Unique and is Absolute in the Absolute sense. No entity in His Universe can ever comprehend His true state and none should even bother to try for it will lead to futility and insanity. Yet there is no doubt in any sane mind that His existence precedes all and His presence is Absolutely ubiquitous (everpresent). For anyone to say that God does not exist is a liar and a fool because such a person can NEVER disprove His existence, whether scientifically or philosophically, or for that matter in any method known. Because He is Absolute and none is like Him, no one in the relative world can ever physically define Him, and thus all idol worshippers and those who ascribe a shape or a body to Him are wrong. Ascribing a shape to the One who is beyond our limited perceptions would be tantamount to lying and giving a false appearance and a false representation. In addition, to believe that one can see God in the physical sense of sitting on a throne like some mythical being is certainly an untrue statement and should never be accepted. The Almighty Creator brings to existence everything with utmost Perfection and nothing in His Universe is imperfect. Thus to state that the Creator has created imperfect things is certainly a false statement. He is the One and Only and is Absolutely independent of anything and everything that exists. Glorified be His names, the Most High!

  • 'Adl - (Justice) - Essentially part of Tawheed. Belief that God is Just. He will reward or punish any person according to his deeds and thus the notion of predestination (where all decisions are God's and not any one else's) in one's deeds does not exist. It is absolutely forbidden in Islam to believe that the Almighty, Merciful Allah planned our destiny and that the good and the bad are just His Will and there is no choice for us between them (God forbid!). Those who ascribe to such lies do so because they want to blame their own evils on Allah and claim the good for themselves! Although the attribute of Allah's Justice is not a separate entity of Allah for certainly the Almighty God can never be compartmentalized nor defined in any relative terms, it is nonetheless absolutely compulsory to believe and fully understand the importance of this attribute in Islam so as not to allow the evil suggestions of Iblees (curse of Allah be upon him and his progeny) and his companions from leading us astray.

  • Nubuwwat - (Prophethood) - Belief in the Prophets (PBUT) of God who excel all other persons for whom they are sent for. All prophets of Allah are perfect and sinless (ma'soom). Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH&HF) is the last of the prophets sent by God and the sealer of prophets for NO more are to come, EVER! The total number of prophets (PBUT) that were sent by God to mankind is 124,000 and every nation on earth was given guidance through them. In fact, all major religions today on earth can be traced to have these divinely guided teachers as their original propagators of the Truth of Allah. The best of His messengers all came from the same tree i.e. family lineage and many of them are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an which describes who they were and what their mission on earth was. It is important to note that no prophet on earth ever negated or rejected any of the other divinely ordained prophets and thus their message was always the same and one in purpose. Each established the law of the One and Only God and showed the way of life for humans to observe. From the very first creation of mankind, there was always a prophet on earth which was Prophet Adam (PBUH). This guidance from the Merciful Allah to establish His complete laws continued to the last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HF) who exemplified the letters of the law in his most perfect behavior. He completed and perfected the one and only True religion, Islam. With the revelation of the last Holy Book, the Qur'an, which is the most protected and perfect book of God with us, he established as part of his mission, every concievable and practical law for mankind to follow in order to attain spiritual perfection. Great prophets such as Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaaq (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob), Yusuf (Joseph), Dawood (David), Sulaiman (Solomon), Musa (Moses), Yahya (John), and Isa (Jesus), - (Peace be upon them all) - all came from the one blessed lineage of Prophet Adam (PBUH) and ended with the last Messenger, Muhammad (PBUH&HF). It is also important to note that anyone who ascribes imperfections or mistakes to these divinely guided personalities is ascribing it directly to Allah who is certainly free from such. Acceptance of such ideas is also rejection of the message of Allah entirely. Thus with prophethood, a believer has to accept in their complete message without any reservations of possible errors or mistakes.

  • Imamat - (Guidance) - Belief in the divinely appointed leadership after the death of the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HF) to protect and guide mankind with the revealed Truth, the Holy Qur'an and the true practices of the Holy Prophet himself. The roles of these leaders is an integral part in the protection of all the Messengers and their divine Messages. The Almighty Allah appointed through the Holy Prophet himself, twelve Guides (Imams) to protect mankind from misrepresenting and misinterpreting the Truth. Belief in this is most important in Islam and no doubts about their positions should be allowed. They are indeed sinless (ma'soom) and perfect in the highest sense of the word. The Imams have direct knowledge from God, and their verdict is the verdict of God. After the Holy Prophet, only they can interpret and guide mankind in every aspect of life and death and all believers must acquire guidance from them or else they will certainly be lost. They do NOT bring any new laws nor do they ever innovate their own laws. They always exempliy and elucidate the practical (Sunnah) and the written (the Holy Qur'an). It is also important to note that they NEVER disagree with each other in their manners and duties nor in their representations of the Divine Laws. They are from the best and the most blessed and purified lineage of the last Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUT) and their names are as follows: (1) Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib, the cousin and son-in-law of the Holy Prophet who called him his only brother in this world and in the next, (2) Imam Hasan son of Ali, (3) Imam Husain son of Ali, (4) Imam Ali son of Husain, (5) Imam Muhammad son of Ali, (6) Imam Ja'far son of Muhammad, (7) Imam Musa son of Ja'far, (8) Imam Ali son of Musa, (9) Imam Muhammad son of Ali, (10) Imam Ali son of Muhammad, (11) Imam Hasan son of Ali, and the last and living Imam Muhammad son of Hasan, the establisher of the Truth till the end of this world (PBUT). There is no successor to the Twelfth Holy Imam Muhammad ibnul Hassan (PBUH) and he is LIVING today but is in occultation and appears only to those who are most in need and to those who are most virtuous and pious. By the Command of Allah, he will reappear to all when he will establish true justice on earth and will rule mankind compassionately with utmost perfection as is the Will of the Almighty Allah. He will abolish the evil establishments on earth and mankind will live under true guidance as should have been many centuries ago!

  • Qiyaamat - (Resurrection) - Belief in the Day of Judgement when all human beings shall be raised from the dead and all their good and bad deeds shall be ultimately judged and recompensed accordingly. This belief is most essential WITH the belief in the One True God. The Day of Judgement will prove to all in this Universe that the Almighty Allah is the Creator of all from nothing and is the Absolute Master. His divine presence shall be most apparent on this important Day for all to witness. It is a judgement Dayfor His creatures to know themselves and their relationship to the Creator Allah. Just as pursuit for justice is inseperable in any society on earth, so is the Ultimate Day of Justice inseparable for mankind.

The Christian-Muslim dialogue of December 2003: the historic event in Tampa By Sayyed.

Generations to come will remember the event which took place at the Best Western Hotel at 1200 North Westshore Boulevard in Tampa, Florida, USA after 6:30 pm on Thursday 4th December, 2003. In following the tradition of Mubahila (and the Ahlul Bait or family of the household Prophet Muhammad (saw)) which took place on 10 A.H. (After Hijrah) against the Christians of Najran headed by Abdul Mashih, their chief Monk Priest, who came to discuss the personality of Prophet Jesus (AS) with Prophet Muhammad (saw); 1424 years afterwards, in 2003 A.D., Shia Muslims of the Jamaat (community of Muslims) called Madinatul ILm of Tampa, Florida led by Maulana Mirza Muhammad Ali Baig met with the Christians led by Dr. Daniel Ebert, sponsored by the SOS Ministries (the SOS ministries are non-denominational as they work with all Churches and they are Right wing Conservative Christians) for a lecture on C¦hristianity, the Holy Bible and the personality of Jesus (AS), its founder?as well as, Islam, the Quran and Muhammad, founder of Islam? The lecture was chaired by Mr. Mike Schadt. While both sides presented their religions, holy books and Prophets; it seemed clear that Dr. Ebert took a very controversial stand defending Christianity from the outset and ended up by being conciliatory and giving an evangelical style of speech making.

Dr. Daniel Ebert spoke first and his credentials were mentioned as such: born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA but moved to the Philippines and lived there for 14 years (from 1977 to 1990). Dr. Ebert has a B.A. in Biblical Literature; an MA in divinity from the Asian Theological Seminary in Theology; a T. HM from Biblical Theological Seminary in the New Testament; a PHD from Trinity International University in Theology and presently, serves as a Professor at Clearwater Christian College while living in Clearwater, Florida. Dr. Ebert is married and has 4 children. On the Muslim side, Maulana Mirza Muhammad Ali Baig, who was born in Hyderabad, India. In 1989 Maulana Baig studied at the Islamic Seminary of New York and received a BA in Islamic Studies and in 1994 he studied for 6 years in Iran at the Center for Islamic Studies. Maulana Baig is currently an Imam of a Mosque in Tampa called Madinatul ILm and he resides in Tampa with his wife and three children. At two times in two private meetings it was agreed by all concerned that this would be a lecture and not a debate. In fact, definitions of a lecture and a debate were given by Mr. Mike Schadt citing the Webster Dictionary as being an exposition of a certain subject before an audience for instruction?whereas; a debate is to engage in argument by discussing opposing points.?While it was stressed in private and in public that this night was a lecture not a debate?and that his is a lecture for instructional purposes,?two minutes into Dr. Ebert speech he began addressing the conflict between Christianity and Islam thus, breaking the agreement and credibility of the event itself. Throughout his presentation, Dr. Ebert literally defended Christianity rather than merely presented Christianity, the Holy Bible and the personality of Jesus (AS), its founder, as was originally agreed in both private and public meetings.

Dr. Ebert, for 53 minutes presented more of a debate than a lecture starting with the conflict between Islam and Christianity to the distinct nature of Christianity from Islam as well as specific criticisms made against Christianity. He began with citing Psalm 100 and would end with it also. Dr. Ebert highlighted three main points from that citation as: (1) God is the creator and ruler of all; (2) God is good and we should be thankful to God; and (3) God is merciful and God is truth. Dr. Ebert even sighted the Holy Quran where Muslims say in almost all the Suras (Chapters) God is merciful too.?He even cited Sura 29 (ayah or line 46) ?And) dispute not with the people of the Book except?in a fair manner (sic, those of them who act unjustly, and say ye (unto the people). Dr. Ebert also compares the New Testament in Peter 3:15 where he says:always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who ask you to give a reason for the hope you have but do this with gentleness and respect.?While he went on to mention the ?6 books of the Old and New Testament?to which followers of Jesus believe in?and they accept the 39 books of the Old Testament?and that Jesus himself¸promised that when he return to heaven that the spirit would lead his disciples unto all truth. They then wrote the 27 books of the New Testament.?He even insisted that at the end of the New Testament we find that it says we are not to add or take away anything from God completed work. He then began to highlight problems between Christianity and Islam thus, deviating from the originally agreed program by highlighting specifically three general problems followed by smaller lesser fully explained problems such as (1) the credibility of the Holy Bible itself as the word of God from non-Christians; (2) the existence of contradictions in the Holy Bible. Dr. Ebert even admitted to manuscript problems especially relating to Numbers?in the Holy Bible; and (3) problems of translations-many versions of English translations of the Bible.

In order to defend these criticisms he sighted non-Christians?criticisms and he spoke about scrolls that were found proving the authenticity of the Bible. However, Dr. Ebert did not highlight the similarities between the Muslims and Christians directly but in the speech given by Maulana Baig, it was clear that Christianity had more in common than is often thought and proof of these were stated while the good Doctor was defending Christianity unknowingly, perhaps? Examples include the fact that the way a Muslim reads the Quran and a Christian reads the Bible is based on beliefs,?indeed simply understand them as intended?this way. Along a defensive posture of his lecture? Dr. Ebert mentioned a book written by a Muslim named Shabir Ali called A 101 CONTRADICTIONS IN THE BIBLE and he mentioned that this resulted in a counter by the Christian named Jake Smith with his book called A 101 CLEARED UP CONTRADICTIONS IN THE BIBLE. He went on to say that liberal intellectuals?were the ones behind criticisms of both the Quran and Bible simply because they do not believe in God,?a point he would find favor among the Shias too but he went on to highlight the Muslim criticisms and that those who do not believe in God?also do not believe in special revelations. They do not believe in prophecy. They do not believe in Prophets. So they criticize the Bible.?Dr. Ebert said, not a Muslim will take the criticisms from an unbelieving man about the Bible, those are not really good evidences and the same goes for the Quran.? He said that there are many translations in English?about the Quran and they are not all the same?and said that Christians have the same problem with the translations in English.?Often he has taken misunderstandings himself from so-called Muslim experts but in Maulana Baigs presentation this incorrect statement was corrected not by design but by sticking to the agreement and certainly the topic at hand.

In another attempt to defend Christianity he spoke of some say the Bible has been abrogated?and that we believe that God word cannot be abrogated, corrected or changed beginning with Moses all the way down to the Injeel (New Testament). It can be fulfilled, there is a progressive revelation but it cannot be abrogated.?Then after 1 hour and 35 minutes into a taped recording of his speech, he finally identifies his topic at hand by saying? That brings us to our second topic. First topic, the Bible, the basis of Christianity. The Second topic then is Jesus.?Again he stated something that Islam has no debate over although this was not a debate, and that is, he said :The Bible reveals Jesus as God itself revelation? Indeed, for Shia Muslims, the Ahlul Bait (AS) or Household of Prophet Muhammad (saw) (including of course the Holy Imams from Imam Ali (AS) down to the awaited Imam Mahdi (AS)) is the Self revelation of God as proof of God supremacy over His creations including the Prophets (AS). Another thing which Dr. Ebert shared that also has acceptance in Islam was the definition of a Prophet as being of (1) someone who did not disagree with the previous revelations or in his words,?his doctrine cannot contradict what God has said before,?and (2) that his claim to be a Prophet must be verified by the signs of God as in the fulfillment of prophecies and do miracles.?Dr. Ebert was very clear when he said that Jesus is God self revelation in its most supreme form.?

Continuing along the path of a debate rather than a lecture, Dr. Ebert

Continuing along the path of a debate rather than a lecture, Dr. Ebert literally identifies points at which he believes Muslims and Christians differ by actually saying this,?Here is really where the most important differences between us lie: Is Jesus God final revelation? Did Jesus die on the cross and rise again for our salvation for our sins? Perhaps the most shocking statements from Dr. Ebert for even Christians were made at this point when he said, followers of Jesus do not believe that the term son of God?with regards to Jesus describes or implies a physical sonship.?Dr. Ebert went on to say that when we speak of God hand of blessing we know that God is a Spirit, He doesnt have a hand and we know that is language trying to describe something to us about God that we can only understand in human language in terms of a hand? Likewise when the Scriptures reveal that Jesus is the son of God it doesnt mean that God somehow had a consort and then produce a child that was the son of God but this is a way about speaking about the relationship between Jesus and God.? Again he will not find Muslims arguing with that neither because that is what we believe also, that Jesus, the Prophet of God was not God son as in the flesh of God because God is not anything like His creations or has any attributes associated to Him. Dr. Ebert went on to identify in this lecture, not a debate, about the differences and problems that exist between Christianity and Islam such as in the trinity? About the crusades? About 9/11?defining such actions as the work of evil?and original sin? the coming of the Messiah in summarizing Isaiah Chapter 53 as he mentioned in the beginning of his speech and insisted that the Bible was not corrupted? He also mentioned a similar point to both faiths that both Muslims and Christians believe that we will stand before God judgment,?once again he will not find Muslims disagreeing with him there either, so again whats the point of the debate style of his speech?

Deviating from the traditional style of men like Ahmed Deedat; Maulana Baig took the approach of the Holy Quran in dealing with the Christians-which is to lecture on Islam and nothing else but just that, having civil discussions and in a gentle manner. In fact, he began his speech by saying that its  fruitless to argue over things in the Bible when its interpretations are quite varied. His emphasis was that with debate over the Bible, we lose the essence of our purpose on earth, the message of all Prophets and good relations between our faiths since we are all awaiting Jesus?return. Unlike the approach taken by Dr. Ebert which was defensive on Christianity; Maulana Baig spoke about Islamic ideology that is, Religion is made by God. God is the creator. He sent His message and set a path for them to walk upon.?Maulana Baig corrected the topic which said that the founder of Islam is Mohammad when in fact it was Allah (God): An Islamic terms it would be more correct to say its messenger, Muhammad (saw), and its book, the Quran because the founder and maker of religion is God, Himself.?

Again, sticking to the topic at hand, Maulana Baig said that Islam as lot of you know, the meaning of Islam is to submit oneself to God will. Wherever he sees the truth, the will of God, he would surrender himself to His will and those who submit themselves meaning that I dont have a will of my own. My will shall be the will of God. My life is led by the will by God. This is the meaning of Islam and those who achieve that are known as Muslims.?After quite eloquently explaining this to a crowd of about 175 people including about 30 Muslims, Maulana Baig continued by Saying,it is said in Islam that knowledge has a beginning and an end. The beginning of knowledge is the recognition of God and the end of knowledge is to surrender ones affairs in God hands. Meaning that first we recognize God and at the end this recognition leads us to put our affairs in His hands. Meaning He is the Master and we are the servants. It is He who is making us turn. It is He who is making us go on.?Indeed, Maulana Baig made the point that the Central theme of Islam is God Himself.?/ Maulana Baig not only stuck to the topic yet again, avoiding all the contradictions between Christianity and Islam and the temptation to be drawn into a debate, gave a very clear explanation of Islam instead, its messenger Prophet Muhammad (saw) and its Holy Book, the Holy Quran. Maulana Baig cited Imam Ali (AS) who said, ...The beginning of religion is the recognition of God. The height of recognizing Him is to testify in Him. The height of testifying in Him is to believe in His oneness. The height of believing in His oneness is to regard Him as pure and the height of regarding Him pure is to deny Him of attributes. What that means is that we are told to have the recognition of God as opposed to the knowledge of God because the knowledge is gained when you dont know something and you learn about it for the first time. When you learn about something for the first time it is known as it is that you have gained knowledge of it. But when you know something and forget it and know it again its called recognizing it.?

Maulana Baig continued to explain that God is known by every human being as God is in the nature of human kind. He cited the Holy Quran as having said God nature is upon which He created mankind.?He quite clearly explained it as to understand God in Islam first one needs to understand the nature of humans itself.?He emphasized that this is why we have a saying whoever recognizes himself; recognizes God.?He went on to speak about perfection as it is  quality embedded in every human.?Since everyone is yearning for some degree of perfection, Maulana Baig said that, whatever he regards as perfection he yearns (to) attain it.?He said, some people see perfection in physical beauty.?Indeed, he said, it is imperfection that we are repelled against and hence these two qualities that are innate in human beings are the basis of the Islamic concept of Tawheed (Islamic Monotheism). That is the uniqueness of God. Meaning the first, the innate nature of perfection these two posits the whole idea of the Islamic height of God uniqueness.?Maulana Baig explained using logical reasoning of perfection and imperfection of two entities and therefore, only one can be truly supreme, God encompasses everything.?He refers to the Holy Quran citing where God includes everything yet He is separate from everything else which makes Him unique: He is one being. He is not a compound of many as opposed to being one. Because one is of many types,?as such he gave the example, if someone asks for tea, he does not get just tea but a cup, a tea bag and if I am healthy, sugar?so in this way the tea is not unique but God is unique without attributes. God does not need everyone; rather everyone needs God or are in need of Him. Maulana explains by saying that recognizing God, the essential need of a human being is to go towards God.?

In fact, as Maulana explained, through God grace and love has given us its message.?He quite clearly stated that, (as Muslims) define the message as the word of God. It came in two forms-a written form and a living form.?The written form is the Holy Quran and the living form is the Ahlul Bait (AS) or household of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). In a similar way to explain this concept from the Christian point of view, Maulana Baig stated that Jesus was the message; Mary (the mother of Jesus) was the messenger.? In the same way for all Muslims, when Islam came, Muhammad (saw) was the Messenger and he brought the Quran and not just the word but his own example, his progeny: the word in living form. As he turns to the Christians, once again displaying no confrontational or defensive speech patterns, Maulana Baig said,we regard Jesus in the highest honor.? Indeed, the Messenger and the message that we believe in is a way to God. The message and the intercessor are the means to God.?He mentioned Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his willingness to sacrifice his son (Prophet Ishmael (AS))  for Allah, a sacrifice which was ?put aside for a future date in the form of Hussein (AS).Hussein ,the grandson of the Prophet made the sacrifice to please God?by standing up to oppression. Maulana Baig also mentioned that, (Muslims) believe that Moses brought the message from God, Jesus brought the message from God, and Muhammad brought the message from God.?Quite eloquently he cites the Holy Bible where Jesus said,Hear O Israel, the Lord thy God is one Lord,?this is exactly what the Muslims say.?

Maulana Baig showed that not just in Islamic ideology but in our goals, we see similarities with the Christians.Muslims and Christians,?he said We are waiting for Jesus. When Jesus comes back he will establish God Kingdom on earth. Since both religions are waiting for the same person to come back, we should be working hand in hand (together) in trying to establish righteousness.?Maulana Baig also stated correcting what Mr. Mike Schadt had said to him once that hate is the fastest growing religion?by saying instead, the fastest growing religion in the World today is ungodliness.?

The lecture entered a question and answer period in which questions were chosen, giving each speaker questions: QUESTION 1: TO Maulana Baig by Rick Jaken who asked, in many places in the Bible i.e Isaiah 42 God states the true God predicts the future while false gods cannot, 27% of the Bible roughly over 1800 prophecies is prophetic with a 100% accuracy. I am aware of only one short term prophecy in the Quran. Why is this??Maulana responds by saying, ... you see the Bible is a compilation of not just the Old Testament, the New Testament and also the Psalms of David. In the old days when the Prophets used to come more often and the era of their advent was closer there were a lot of prophecies because prophecies are made to establish Prophet hood of a Prophet and as we see that these prophecies were made for the next Prophet that was coming and the next Prophet that was coming but as man advanced and there were lesser and fewer Prophets in between we see that those prophecies slowly became fewer and when the time came for the last messenger, as we believe that is Muhammad and there is no other Prophet coming after him hence, there is no need to prophesize of another Prophet coming because there is no other Prophet coming. The only prophecy we have is for man  ultimate achievement of God goal that God gave to mankind which is the establishment of His Kingdom and hence we have many prophecies that are related to that and those events havent yet happened. And hence we see that the reason why there are so few prophecies is that we believe all the other prophecies were made so that people can recognize the last messenger and hence, when the last messenger came he will show you unto all truth and hence the truth was establish and now it was to establish it throughout the world and that is of course the education and training of human beings as they grow closer to God. QUESTION 1: to Dr. Daniel Ebert, from Ellenson why is Jesus the only way to be saved from Sin? Is there any other way?? Dr. Ebert says, Its got two parts.  There are two ways of answering the question, why Jesus is the only way? One is the way God established His word. If we begin in Genesis with the very first prophecy concerning God solution to the sin problem when the curse was placed on Adam and Eve because of sin. In Genesis we read that a prophecy was made that the seed of the woman would have its heel bruised by satan but that the seed of the woman would crush the head of satan. And so from the very beginning God design once sin entered the World was to solve the sin problem and defeat evil through the Messiah and the rest of the Old Testament promises in prophesies point then to the coming Messiah who would deal with the sin problem. The passage in Isaiah 53 is one stop along the way so Jesus is the way to deal with the sin problem number one because thats the way God designed it in scriptures but secondly its because and this is really why we affirm the true nature of Jesus from the unique nature of Jesus, he is the only one who was perfect and if someone else would pay for sin or would die for sin the person himself would be a sinner and would be imperfect. His sacrifice was a perfect sacrifice that was adequate. Is there any other way? Jesus said I am the way to truth and the light and no man come to the Father through me and the early apostles said there are no other names given in heaven so from the point of view from the Injeel, there is no other way to deal with the sin problem and God has given us a perfect way.

QUESTION 2: To Maulana Baig from Robert D. In Islam how can my sins be forgiven?? By asking for it.?Maulana began to explain that in Islam we are told to ask for forgiveness and it comes in many levels. At a basic level we ask for sins but those people at a higher level also ask for forgiveness but for the realization that they are closer to God. Even when someone close to God has forgotten for a short time to remember God they will ask for forgiveness for that. Everything other than God is in need for forgiveness?anything that has a point of origin is in need of forgiveness from God.?QUESTION 2: to Dr. Ebert from Sarah,That does it mean that Jesus is God only begotten son?? Thats a good question..?Dr. Ebert explained that he already explained it in his presentation but also drew reference to, even if you do away with the word begotten?you still have to deal with the issue of the son. Referring to various translations as the King James version of the New Testament but recent translations has one and only or unique?in John 3:16 is not only begetting as in the sense of giving birth to but on God unique son.

QUESTION 3: For Maulana Baig, from Mohammed Rasheed, you have eloquently demonstrated God uniqueness based on His perfection as humans are not perfect. Does that mean that God is not a perfect creator who has created imperfect products? Maulana explained that?when we say that God is unique it means that yes, everything else is imperfect than God.?Is it because God is perfect that makes everything else imperfect and its because of His perfection that everything else is imperfect.?QUESTION 3: to Dr. Ebert, from Assad, you stated that Christians will also stand before God to be judged. Why are they being judged and for what are they being judged? According to the Christian Beliefs God sacrificed himself for your sins. Dr, Ebert explains that we will all face judgment someday but when He does that the Injeel promises Christians to be forgiven for their sins. He also explained that Christians will never be judged for our sins because the sin judgment has been taken by Christ?but are judged for our service not for our sins,?he said.

QUESTION 4: for Maulana from Bob Mayberry, that evidence can you share with us that shows that the Quran is both true and the word of God??Maulana Baig starts by explaining that the Quran affirms that which has been said by all previous Prophets and every section of the Quran has a meaning thats profound in its nature. One example I can give you in the Quran is that God created you from a clot of blood. Humans beings did not know this until recent history?when Scientists rediscovered thats where the egg and sperm meet?and when there are verses that describe the process of birth?and only now science is rediscovering this. God has challenged mankind to bring one verse that has eloquence and strong foundation and knowledge.? What challenge still stands today.? This is only one example from the Holy Quran.?QUESTION 4: to Dr. Ebert from Sayyed you have mentioned that the Bible has been changed and (then) its not. What is your proof since it was written after Christ? Dr. Ebert confirms that Jesus did not write the New Testament but his disciples did. He draws references from Scrolls of evidence of the Testament and he says that he does not have evidence that the New Testament has been changed and the burden of proof is on the person who?claims this.

Maulana Baig concluded his question period by acknowledging the uniqueness of this presentation today making history in America and this should be encouraged to have everyone become one nation?that transcends any boundary we can think of as race and others which we want to achieve, he said. Human beings need to realize that they are one?according to Maulana Baig. Dr. Ebert concluded with comments that sounded conciliatory as this will be only the beginning of knowing one another and of establishing relationships? YES but yet proceeded to wrap up with an evangelical style by suggesting that, when you are convinced that you know the truth and you have a great treasure when you lay your head down at night and your sins are forgiven not because you have been able to do something to please God or earn His favor but because God has dealt with your sin problem and you go to bed at night with a deep peace when you know that your children are sick or your parents are dying and they have met the savior and their sins have been forgiven. This gives a tremendous peace and joy for life and we have really done this and because we do love you, not only because we  are fellow citizens in our land.?He also said that in an attempt to express an ongoing relationship we have brought copies of the Injeel (New3 Testament)?and brought a gift of the life of Jesus on tape for Maulana Baig. In a land where 9/11 has tarnished Muslims and such events do not occur, this was history in the making. When Allah spoke of the Christians and Jews in the Quran He has been general not about specific individuals Christians and Jews per se. So this kind of dialogue is encouraged in the interests of peace and understanding. When God is the focus of attention as it was at this Christian-Muslim dialogue, only good can come from such events.
